Curated For Kids Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: July 30, 2026

Curated For Kids ("Curated For Kids," "we," "our," or "us") is an online marketplace that connects parents and caregivers with independent Providers offering children's activities, classes, camps, events, enrichment programs, birthday services, and other family-focused experiences.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, subscription charges, and booking disputes are handled on the Curated For Kids Platform.

By using Curated For Kids, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.

Our Role

  • Curated For Kids is a marketplace platform.
  • Unless expressly stated otherwise, Curated For Kids is not the organizer, instructor, operator, employer, or provider of activities listed on the Platform.
  • Providers are independent businesses responsible for delivering their own services.
  • As a result, refunds for bookings are generally governed by each Provider's refund policy.

Refunds for Parents & Caregivers

1Provider Refund Policies

Each Provider is responsible for creating and honoring its own refund and cancellation policy. Providers may determine:

  • Refund eligibility
  • Cancellation deadlines
  • Rescheduling policies
  • Weather policies
  • No-show policies
  • Waitlist policies

Provider refund policies must:

  • Be clearly displayed before booking.
  • Comply with applicable laws.
  • Not conflict with Curated For Kids' Marketplace Terms.

If a Provider does not publish a refund policy, Curated For Kids may assist in resolving disputes based on fairness, available evidence, and applicable law.

2Parent Booking Cancellations

Parents may cancel bookings according to the Provider's published cancellation policy. Refund eligibility depends on:

  • The Provider's cancellation deadline
  • The timing of the cancellation
  • Whether the activity has already begun
  • Any special terms disclosed before booking

Some activities may be:

  • Fully refundable
  • Partially refundable
  • Eligible for rescheduling only
  • Non-refundable

3Provider Cancellations

If a Provider cancels an activity, parents may be offered one or more of the following, depending on the circumstances:

  • A full refund
  • A rescheduled session
  • Credit toward a future activity
  • Another remedy offered by the Provider

Repeated cancellations by a Provider may result in review or suspension of the Provider's account.

Refunds for Providers

1Subscription Refunds

Provider subscription plans (such as Bronze, Silver, Gold, or other plans offered by Curated For Kids) are billed according to the selected billing cycle. Unless otherwise required by law:

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable after the billing period has begun.
  • Downgrading or cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically entitle the Provider to a refund for the current billing period.
  • Upgrades may take effect immediately, with prorated charges where applicable.

If Curated For Kids bills a Provider in error, we will investigate and issue an appropriate refund or account credit.

2Failed Payments

If a Provider's subscription payment cannot be processed:

  • We may retry the payment.
  • Certain Provider features may be temporarily suspended.
  • Continued non-payment may result in account suspension or termination.

Payment Processing

Payments made through Curated For Kids may be processed by trusted third-party payment providers. Refund processing times may vary depending on:

  • The payment processor
  • The customer's financial institution
  • The original payment method

After a refund is approved, it may take several business days for the funds to appear in the customer's account.

Booking Disputes

If a disagreement arises between a Parent and a Provider, we encourage both parties to communicate directly to seek a resolution. If a resolution cannot be reached, Curated For Kids may, at its discretion:

  • Request additional information
  • Review booking records
  • Review communications made through the Platform
  • Facilitate communication between the parties

Curated For Kids may assist in resolving disputes but is not obligated to determine fault or issue refunds on behalf of independent Providers unless required by law or otherwise stated in our policies.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds generally will not be issued for:

  • Missed sessions due to late arrival
  • Failure to attend without prior notice (no-shows), unless the Provider's policy states otherwise
  • Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference after services have been provided
  • Cancellations made after the Provider's published cancellation deadline
  • Provider subscription fees already used during the active billing period, except where required by law or in cases of billing error

Exceptional Circumstances

Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for situations such as:

  • Serious medical emergencies
  • Government restrictions
  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather affecting the activity
  • Other unforeseen events beyond the reasonable control of the Parent or Provider

Supporting documentation may be requested where appropriate.

Fraud Prevention

Curated For Kids reserves the right to refuse refunds or suspend accounts where we reasonably believe there has been:

  • Fraud
  • Abuse of the refund process
  • Chargeback abuse
  • False claims
  • Misrepresentation

Changes to This Policy

Curated For Kids may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The updated version will become effective upon posting to the Platform unless otherwise required by law.
