Curated For Kids Parent's Terms of Service

1Introduction

1.1 Curated For Kids (the "Site") is owned and operated by Curated For Kids, Curated For Kids, Los Angeles, CA 90001 ("we", "us"). By registering as an End User or Provider, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

1.2 We may update these Terms at any time for technical, legal, or business reasons. Continued use of the Site after updates indicates acceptance.

1.3 Curated For Kids is an online marketplace connecting Providers with End Users. We are not responsible for contracts, obligations, or services offered between End Users and Providers.

1.4 You should read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share information.

2Definitions & Interpretation

  • End User: Any individual using the Services to book or attend classes.
  • Provider: A solo provider or company group offering classes through Curated For Kids.
  • Content: All materials submitted by users, including text, images, videos, and reviews.
  • Services: All features provided by Curated For Kids, including app, website, and management tools.
  • IP Rights: Patents, trademarks, copyrights, design rights, database rights, and any similar rights worldwide.

Other rules:

  • Words in singular include plural and vice versa.
  • Headings do not affect interpretation of these Terms.

3Use of Services

3.1 You must comply with all laws and these Terms when using the Services.

3.2 You must not:

  • (a)Attempt to hack or disrupt the Site
  • (b)Collect non-public information about other users without consent
  • (c)Transmit spam, viruses, or malicious software
  • (d)Replicate the Site or its content for competitive purposes

3.3 Curated For Kids reserves all rights to its content.

4General

4.1 These Terms, Privacy Policy, and any incorporated documents form the entire agreement.

4.2 If any provision is unenforceable, other provisions remain effective.

4.3 Our failure to enforce a right does not waive it.

4.4 Notices may be sent by email to the address on file.

4.5 These Terms are governed by California law; disputes resolved in Los Angeles County courts.

Part II — End User Terms

Sections 5–8 apply to individuals booking classes through Curated For Kids.

5Registration and Use

5.1 You must be 16+ to register as an End User.

5.2 You may book classes by creating an account. You are responsible for your password and activity under your account.

6Booking and Payment

6.1 Classes must be paid in full when booking. Confirmation emails will be sent; you must present proof to attend.

6.2 Booking a class provides your personal data (and child's data, if applicable) to the Provider.

7Disclaimer

7.1 The Site is for information only; we make no warranties about content or Providers.

7.2 You are responsible for ensuring the suitability of classes.

7.3 Curated For Kids is not liable for Providers' acts or omissions.

8Termination or Suspension

8.1 Accounts may be suspended or terminated at our discretion.

8.2 After termination, you must cease using the Services.

Part III — Provider Terms

Sections 9–16 apply to providers listing classes through Curated For Kids.

9Registration and Use

9.1 Providers must be 16+ and legally capable of contracts.

9.2 Additional documentation may be required (licenses, certifications, insurance, DBS check if applicable).

9.3 Providers are responsible for account security and accurate information.

9.4 Curated For Kids may use your content for marketing with permission.

10Curated For Kids Accounts

10.1 Free accounts allow basic listing; bookings require paid membership.

10.2 Paid memberships: Monthly or Annual plans. Terms for auto-renewal, cancellation, and upgrades follow standard practice.

11Class Information

11.1 Providers must ensure class content is accurate and up-to-date.

11.2 Free classes allowed only if multi-session paid bookings are available; online free classes require approval.

11.3 Content must not be dishonest, offensive, illegal, infringing IP, or advertise third-party competing platforms.

12Payments

12.1 Payments processed via Stripe; providers agree to Stripe's terms.

12.2 Curated For Kids charges commission on bookings; commission rate subject to change with notice.

12.3 Featured listings billed monthly; non-payment may result in suspension.

13Provider-End User Relationship

13.1 Providers' own Terms apply; must provide services with skill, care, and in compliance with laws.

13.2 Personal data must be kept secure and used only for class provision.

14Disclaimers & Liability

14.1 Site is provided "as is"; Curated For Kids not responsible for End User actions.

14.2 Liability limited to foreseeable damages; cannot exclude liability for death, injury, or fraud.

15Indemnity

15.1 Providers indemnify Curated For Kids against claims from acts, omissions, or breaches.

16Termination or Suspension

16.1 Curated For Kids may suspend or terminate accounts or memberships for breach, inaccurate info, or complaints.

16.2 Upon termination, Providers must cease using the Services.

1About Curated For Kids

1.1 Curated For Kids is an online marketplace that helps parents discover children's activities, classes, camps, events, birthday services, and family-friendly businesses.

1.2 Curated For Kids acts solely as a technology platform connecting Providers with parents and caregivers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Curated For Kids is not the organizer, operator, employer, or sponsor of any activity listed on the Platform.

2Provider Eligibility

2.1 To become a Provider you must:

  • (a)be at least 18 years old;
  • (b)have authority to operate your business;
  • (c)provide accurate registration information;
  • (d)maintain any licenses, permits, certifications, insurance, or qualifications required by applicable law;
  • (e)comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.

2.2 You are responsible for ensuring your business remains legally compliant.

3Provider Account

3.1 You agree to:

  • (a)provide accurate information;
  • (b)keep your information updated;
  • (c)maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • (d)immediately notify us of unauthorized access.

3.2 You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

4Provider Listings

4.1 Providers may create listings for:

  • (a)classes;
  • (b)camps;
  • (c)workshops;
  • (d)events;
  • (e)birthday services;
  • (f)tutors;
  • (g)sports;
  • (h)arts;
  • (i)music;
  • (j)enrichment programs;
  • (k)childcare-related services;
  • (l)other family-focused offerings approved by Curated For Kids.

4.2 Listings must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading.

4.3 You may not publish:

  • (a)false information;
  • (b)copyrighted content without permission;
  • (c)offensive or discriminatory material;
  • (d)illegal services;
  • (e)unsafe activities.

4.4 Curated For Kids may edit formatting, request revisions, or remove listings that do not meet platform standards.

5Subscription Plans

5.1 Certain Provider features require a paid subscription.

5.2 Subscription benefits may include:

  • (a)business profile;
  • (b)activity listings;
  • (c)event listings;
  • (d)booking tools;
  • (e)calendar management;
  • (f)AI assistant features;
  • (g)analytics;
  • (h)advertising opportunities;
  • (i)enhanced visibility.

5.3 Subscription pricing is displayed during sign-up.

5.4 Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

5.5 Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension or removal of Provider features.

6Bookings

6.1 If your subscription includes online bookings:

  • (a)parents submit booking requests through the Platform;
  • (b)you are responsible for confirming availability;
  • (c)you are responsible for delivering the booked activity;
  • (d)you agree to honor confirmed bookings except in emergencies.

6.2 Curated For Kids is not responsible for attendance, cancellations, or disputes between Providers and parents.

7Payments

7.1 If payment processing is offered through the Platform:

  • (a)payments may be processed by third-party payment providers;
  • (b)applicable processing fees may apply;
  • (c)payouts may be delayed due to verification or fraud prevention;
  • (d)Providers are responsible for taxes and reporting obligations.

7.2 Curated For Kids is not responsible for errors caused by third-party payment processors.

8Cancellations and Refunds

8.1 Providers are responsible for maintaining their own cancellation and refund policies unless otherwise specified by Curated For Kids.

8.2 Providers must clearly communicate:

  • (a)refund eligibility;
  • (b)cancellation deadlines;
  • (c)rescheduling policies;
  • (d)weather policies;
  • (e)no-show policies.

8.3 Providers agree to honor their published policies.

9Provider Responsibilities

9.1 Providers agree to:

  • (a)deliver services professionally;
  • (b)maintain safe environments;
  • (c)supervise children appropriately;
  • (d)comply with all child safety requirements;
  • (e)maintain appropriate insurance where applicable;
  • (f)respond promptly to customer inquiries;
  • (g)maintain accurate schedules.

9.2 Providers are solely responsible for the quality and safety of their services.

10Reviews

10.1 Parents may leave reviews after participating in an activity.

10.2 Providers may not:

  • (a)purchase fake reviews;
  • (b)manipulate ratings;
  • (c)threaten reviewers;
  • (d)offer incentives for positive reviews without disclosure.

10.3 Curated For Kids may remove reviews that violate platform policies.

11AI Features

11.1 Curated For Kids may provide AI-powered tools to assist Providers with:

  • (a)creating listings;
  • (b)updating information;
  • (c)generating descriptions;
  • (d)answering questions;
  • (e)managing business information.

11.2 AI-generated content should always be reviewed before publication.

11.3 Providers remain fully responsible for all published information.

12Intellectual Property

12.1 Providers retain ownership of their logos, photos, business names, and original content.

12.2 By uploading content, you grant Curated For Kids a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • (a)display;
  • (b)reproduce;
  • (c)resize;
  • (d)market;
  • (e)promote;
  • (f)distribute

your content solely for operating and promoting the Platform.

13Prohibited Activities

13.1 Providers may not:

  • (a)impersonate another business;
  • (b)submit fraudulent information;
  • (c)harass users;
  • (d)upload malware;
  • (e)interfere with Platform operations;
  • (f)scrape Platform data;
  • (g)copy another Provider's listings;
  • (h)misuse AI features;
  • (i)violate any law.

14Provider Verification

14.1 Curated For Kids may request documentation including:

  • (a)business licenses;
  • (b)insurance certificates;
  • (c)identification;
  • (d)certifications;
  • (e)background information.

14.2 Failure to provide requested documentation may result in suspension.

15Suspension and Termination

15.1 Curated For Kids may suspend or terminate Provider accounts for:

  • (a)violating these Terms;
  • (b)fraud;
  • (c)unsafe practices;
  • (d)repeated customer complaints;
  • (e)abusive conduct;
  • (f)non-payment;
  • (g)illegal activity.

15.2 Termination does not eliminate outstanding financial obligations.

16Limitation of Liability

16.1 Curated For Kids provides the Platform "as is" without warranties.

16.2 We do not guarantee:

  • (a)bookings;
  • (b)revenue;
  • (c)customer acquisition;
  • (d)uninterrupted availability;
  • (e)error-free services.

16.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curated For Kids shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform.

17Indemnification

17.1 Providers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Curated For Kids, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising out of:

  • (a)Provider activities;
  • (b)injuries occurring during activities;
  • (c)inaccurate listings;
  • (d)legal violations;
  • (e)intellectual property infringement;
  • (f)disputes with customers.

18Privacy

18.1 Provider information is handled in accordance with the Curated For Kids Privacy Policy.

18.2 By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described in that policy.

19Changes to These Terms

19.1 Curated For Kids may update these Terms from time to time.

19.2 Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

20Governing Law

20.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

20.2 Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in California unless otherwise required by applicable law.
